New Afghanistan Blogs

As one of my duties over at The Afghanistan Analyst I compile and update a list of blogs on Afghanistan. Here are a few new discoveries worth checking out:

Complex Topics: A blog by J. L. Krueger, a former Army officer now working in Afghanistan as a civilian training the Afghan National Army. This is his analytical blog. His other blog is  more personal and has a lot of great pictures from Afghanistan.

Zen and the Art of Peacekeeping: Written by Frida, A Kiwi human rights advocate who spent much time in Afghanistan recently.

Hazaristan Times: A blog by and about Hazaras.

The Canada-Afghanistan Blog: A blog by the Canada-Afghanistan Solidarity Committee at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia (the best Province in Canada).

Assignment Afghanistan: A blog by Graham Thomson, a journalist for the Edmonton Journal (that’s in the great State of Alberta).

Two Brothers, Two Countries, One Army: A milblog by two brothers, one serving in Iraq and one serving in Afghanistan.

The Stupidest Man on Earth: A Euro journalist who has actually met Hekmatyar and Haqqani. He’s no stranger to Afghanistan. At the moment his blog is on a two week hiatus while he lays on a beach.
